How it began

Maybe it’s just me, but I have found that the books I lend rarely come back. It’s all good though, as it got me thinking, what if I stop lending my books and instead, start thinking of it as sending the book on its next journey?

This led me to an idea ………………………

…….what if you picked up a book and you could actually see its journey and find out where it has been?  I find it really interesting to think about where the book has ended up, what actually happens to your book once you pass it on and how far a book can travel and so with a few scribbles on the inside of my books, so began THIS BOOK’S TRAVELS.

My initial thought was that I’m a nosey person* (*I’m trying to be polite, you can insert your word of choice here 😃) and this would only be interesting to me, but to my surprise, my friends started joining in.  Now with the book labels (no more scribbles – unless you get an original TBT book!), the social media accounts and the website, it seems that I may have been wrong.
